So I was just recently enlightened to an issue with the site I was not aware of, which is that our website in Internet Explorer does not always render properly. We’re working on a fix and it should be up hopefully this week.

Well today’s the day! Jamie has gotten back from Hawaii from his yearly Navy training, and Jordan’s about to head for a week in Sturgis.

You’ve most likely noticed our “Events” calendar in the left nav bar, and you’re maybe wondering what it’s for. We like to give exposure to the upcoming shows we shoot, and it’s a way for our visitors to know where we’ll be concert wise, and how they can get there. I remember before we started shooting shows, how frustrating it was always hearing at the last minute an awesome band was just here.

We’ll be posting information exclusively about upcoming shows we will be at, as well as community events. We won’t be posting any info about our client sessions, just to clarify.

I’ve gotten some emails asking on the status of iphotoshows.com. Right now I’m switching hosting providers and it’s in limbo from the old host, to the new. Hopefully it will be ready in a couple weeks. We have some HUGE shows on the horizon including Keith Urban, (possibly) KISS, Hinder, Godsmack, and many more!

So after a great 4th of July Jamie and I are ready to get back to work. Jamie was on hand at the Mandan Independence Day parade on the 4th to cover the event on behalf of Hybrid Studios, and I must say, he did a fantastic job. I on the other hand, was at Hazen Bay with family, jet skiing, and relaxing. It was nice to get away for a few days, and well, work in a camper. I have a ton of content now ready to upload to this site, just need to find the time to do it.

I want to remind you to take advantage of our awesome deal going on, $50 off of any Senior session scheduled between now and the 14th. So as long as you tell us you’d like to setup a Aug 17th date, by July 14th, you’re totally covered and good to go.

Our website over the past 2 years has had it’s ups and downs, and this is a HUGE up! We are proud to present our new redesign and hope you find it easy to get around. We’ll be adding alot to our graphic section and Jamie will become a regular contributor to the site, so you know what kind of awesomeness we’re up to!

We’ll also be toning down the concert section of our website. Don’t get us wrong, you’ll still see new and sweet images from shows we cover, but not as frequenlty. Jamie has also become a concert photographer and he is working on building his portfolio with the resources that Hybrid has to offer, so he will prominently feature his work for your eyes. I’ll still post some stuff, but I have a sister website devoted to my concert photography at iphotoshows.com.

iPhotoShows is a blog dedicated to my concert photography experience and will be my feature area for my work. I’m also proud to announce that I’ve been signed as a Retna photographer, basically the same as a record deal to a recording artist. So look for more shows, in more venues, and a more diverse roster of past clients. Retna is one of the largest supplier of live concert images to major publications such as Rolling Stone magazine.
